Who conquored more kingdoms; Alexander the Great or Khubilai Khan?

Khubilai Khan ruled at the end of the unified Mongol Empire, his time was one of Civil War with his younger brother,so he did not really rule over the Empire his grandfather Genghis Khan. Alexander, on the other hand solidified the the rule of Macedonia of the Greek states and went on to rule most of the known world including the Persian empire and Egypt. In many ways the most important accomplishment Alexander had in his short life was the founding of the Hellenistic Age, which in many ways we are still in.
