How will I feel when I come round from having my hysterectomy (LAVH)?

I know I'll be sore, nauseous, emotional and tired etc because this will be about my 12th surgery so I'm familiar with how surgery and anaesthetia feel, but how will I feel specific to the hysterectomy? Will I feel different inside (once the initial pain has subsided and I'm getting normal feeling back)? Does it hurt when the things around where my uterus was adjust to it not being there anymore? Is there anything that will seem weird that would be helpful to be aware of? They're hoping to leave my ovaries but it might be that once my gynecologist has seem them he might not be able to- will I feel menopausal i.e different to being not menopausal immediately (I know from a hormone perspective I'll have had a surgical menopause and will physically post-menopausal immediately) or does it take a few hours/days to kind of kick in in terms of actually feeling it? I have loads of info on LAVH so I know what I should expect, I'm really wondering more about what it's like in reality. Any tips or advice anyone doesn't mind sharing would be very gratefully received. BTW I'm 31 and have not had children if that's relevant, I'm having the hyst because of severe endo and have had several 2nd opinions as my gynecologist and another one I've seen have discussed me with specialist endo and laparascopic surgeons so I know I have no choice and that it's the right thing to do and I'm as happy as I can be in the cirstances about that. What is the best way to keep water from coming through my walls into my basement?

I am a new home owner and the previous owner did not disclose water in the baement. When it rains real hard, I get water on the floor. It looks like it is coming in from different spots on the wall because the paint is getting discolored. It is a below ground basement. Is this bag too big for hand luggage?

Any bag or item that you take with you into the penger compartment must be able to fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat. Both spaces are about 9"x9"x12" give or take. If the bag is larger than that it will have to be checked. You can take only 2 carry-on bags with you. There is one other way but most people won't want to do it. This way is to buy two seats together and in this way your luggage can take the place of a person. That is what I did on my return home trip because of extra junk I purchased.

Hi, I have an outbreak of ich in my aquarium and am using QuICK Cure. Can I use stress coat at the same time?

I spotted some ich in my aquarium yesterday. The affected fish are lethargic and now getting picked on by others ( i keep South American cichlids). Because of this they are even more stressed and have fin damage. I'm in college so I have no quarantine tank. Is it save to use stress coat in conjunction with QuICK Cure or will it harm my fish and/or decrease the effectiveness of the ich medication? (I also have catfish so I'm using a half dose of QuICK Cure)

What could be causing my gastric spasms?

I am 17 years old and I have been eating very healthy lately. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week for an hour. I've been having my period for the past week and I just received the regular flu shot this Monday (which caused some nasal running and a stuffy nose but no coughing). I cannot remember anything expired or disgusting that I ate lately that could possibly cause this incredible pain. It's a sharp pain in my upper abdomen that comes and goes every 6-10 seconds. It keeps me up at night. It's been two days, and I just brought it to my mom's attention this morning. She is a physician, so she gave me Pepto Bismol, Prevacid, and Belladonna. I have not been experiencing any diarrhea or anything... yet. Help! Why won't these spasms go away? :'(

Never heard of moth? Get them in the cleaning section at your local grocery store. They are round , marble size white that you put everywhere around your closet/drawers and they evaporate with time, and moths hate them. It doesn't kill them, they just go away.

I first saw this movie when I was kind of young (about the late 90's I'd guess) so the details are kind of vague. I remember that these kids (I think there's three) have to go rescue their parents from some weird place like a town but there's weird stuff there (like I remember the oldest kid, who's a boy, bumping into this pinkish thing and the whole place kind of roars and he says something like "it must be a nerve") The main thing I remember is in the end they get their parents and drive away. It then shows them having a birthday party or something and when they cut the cake green slime starts coming out of it, then the kids look at their parents and there's green slime coming out of their mouths meaning that the people they rescued were not their parents. My privacy rights were violated what should I do?

I picked up a prescription a few days ago then returned to that same pharmacy to pick up a new prescription. When i went to get my new script the pharmacist said hey i remember you weren't you in here the other day picking up (med name i pick up) I was stunned that he said that out loud and just kinda said umm yeah? then once my new script to be filled i was checking out and said i had a question for the pharmacist she came to the check out counter where other customers were and proceeded to discuss the issue right there instead of at the consultation window she said well this med is for (name of what med was for) and said she wasn't sure of how it interacted with my other meds (i don't know is not an answer you want to hear from your pharmacist) anyhow what should i do about this i know i need to report it to someone.....

In order to know that 16mpg is bad, you need to look up what the epa's suggested mpg is. If you're under the range, where and how you drive has the most to do with mpg. If you're in the city idling all the time and perform multiple accelerations, that'll eat up gas. Sitting in traffic gives you 0mpg. Also, depending on the engine, if it's a 4cylinder, it's trying to hard to move a non-aerodynamic brick down the road. The type / brand of gas you use may have minimal effect. Just make sure it's not billy bob's gas corner.

I feel my husband is mean to my children?

I need some good advice. My husband is a good person in general. He has turned out to not be good father material tho. I have a 4 yr old son from a previous relationship, we have a 7mo old son together and he has a 7 yr old son from his previous marriage. The only child he is nice and loving to is the 7 yr old. He won't do anything with the rest of us unless the 7yr old is here and he wants to do something. Example: he is learning to crawl and sit up. If he falls over and bumps his head my husband will yell at him for crying, call him a "screamin mimi(?)" and put him in his bed, screaming. The 7yr old never gets in trouble for anything. Well he did once and my husband bawled about it. The 7yr old isn't a bad kid but is very disrespectful to me and hateful to the little ones when my husband gets home. My husband also sucks up to his exwife every chance he gets. They are divorced because she cheated on him. I think he still loves her and prefers her to me. There is sooo much that happens on a daily basis that I could never fully address on here. I have been writing on here for awhile. I am completely confused and it's starting to drive me insane. I started my last period on the evening of February 23rd, 2009. I had on the 15th and16th. So far today I have not started yet. It is March 25th. I am having slight cramps or twinges in what feels like my ovaries. I currently have a dull headache and we are starting to get our hopes up. The only problem is that I took a HPT yesterday which would have been 9-10 days after and it was negative. Since today it has now been 11 days since and still no period, Is there a chance I was ovulating on the 15th? Today makes me on day 31 of my cycle and still no period. But I figure even if it has been 11 days since , I could have still ovulated 3 days before , right? And missed our window?? Or could that mean, I was ovulating then, 11 days ago? What is the possibility of me being pregnant and when can I test again? I have wet discharge (TMI) but then it goes dry again. (Back and forth) My right is a little tender but nothing too bad but it does look alot fuller than my left. I have veins on my right as well but I am a thin person so I think they've always been there. I never miss a period though and usually start between the 24th-26th. Am I even considered late yet? We never kept track of the money i just always gave her $200 in cash when i got in on Tuesday morning. when i left i told her i would pay her installments of $200 when i got a new place and got back on my feet. today her receptionist calls me and tells me that i owe her $200 from last week on Tuesday and $25 times 6 for everyday last week plus $200 thats due today but if i gave her $400 by the end of the day today for the two weeks than that would be fine. i would have been fine paying $200 starting today now that im back on my feet but now im going to owe her a bunch of late fees and stuff and i dont feel i should have to pay her anything just because of the total ***** is she was to me when i was working there and the fact that she went against her word and isnt being very flexible about payments. Why are my coloured contacts blurry?

I have gotten some prescription contacts from my optometrist 4 the first time. While at the consultation I chose to try on my clear ones instead of my coloured. My clear contacts are very comfortable and work fine. I am now using my freshlook coloured ones for the first time. The corners appear blurry on. I've had them on for about 2 hours now and its getting abit clearer. Though the corners still appear blurry. Is there a explanation for this? I brought 8 pairs of coloured and 3 pairs of clear... Is Water Baptism Necessary to My Salvation?

I know that we are highly encouraged to go through the ritual of water baptism after we are saved. I am saved, but have yet to be baptized, because I have this complex about going up there on stage before the congregation and going through the ritual. What island in Hawaii is best for a honeymoon?

We just returned from Hawaii on a 10 year anniversary trip. We also went there for our honeymoon. My first recommendation is the Four Seasons on the Big Island. Expensive but it is such a nice resort. We also found that the food and drink was not as expensive as other hotels on other islands. We stayed for 5 nights there and then moved on to Maui which has more to do. On Maui, I would be careful of the Ritz as it tends to rain more on that part of the island. We stayed at the Grand Walai which was nice but big. You want to stay at the adult pool because there are a lot of kids. Another idea is the the Hyatt on Kauai. We stayed there 10 years ago and really enjoyed it. They have a great property and pools.

Do I have to seal gl mosaic tile backsplash?

Hi, I have just put in a backsplash of gl mosaic tiles on the 12 by 12 sheets from home depot,on to the drywall withour backer board it came out great! But I went to ask about the sealer? It is very confusing grout lines are very small and a lot of the product applications come in a bottle with a little brush. But they all warn about getting on the gl/tiles. Another question about Ovidrel trigger shot?

I had an ultrasound today and I have 5 follicles that are maturing. One is measuring 12cm, one is measuring 11.5cm, one is measuring 11cm, and two are measuring 10. I go back in on Wednesday to see if any of them are mature enough to give me the trigger shot. My doctor is concerned that I am producing too many follicles. My question is, if by the time I go back on Wednesday, only 1 or 2 of the follicles are 18cm, and the other 3 are less than that, will I still have too many follicles or do you think they will go ahead and give me the trigger shot? I know this may be a confusing question, but I dont know of a better way to word it. Two months elapse when she is convinced that her husband is telling the truth, why the cold, cruel, in sensitive back stabbing attack occurred in the first place, who knows ? That's twice, fast forward 5 more years. She leaves to get milk and the next call received from her is the I'm not coming home call. To recap, Happy marriage 18 years, out side interference, first and second separation. Now its five years since the second separation over 15 years since the bs affair and the end of March 2011, she is now over 300 miles away, very little contact yet she says,please don't divorce me, and move here you can get a place and I will stay here ( with family ). I really don't have a question, I just had to tell the story...WTF ? Oh yea, the husband sort of adopted her family as his own because he didn't have his own. Now she has created such a divide that the sudo family is ice cold to him...really WTF...? Wait, I have a question, if you were the family of the wife, given a 27 year history that was all good, would you, could you, just turn you back on the husband without even a call or letter or e-mail or smoke signal..just completely ignore his calls, texts....The husband is pretty cool, always there when needed without asking and without expecting anything in return. Like that unconditional thing we hear so much about...So, is that ok or should the family have called him to see if he was ok first and second to mediate some sort of communication obviously there's a problem but after 27 years without problem's of any kind, doesn't make sense to try to work it out for a minute anyway. it's not like there was wife beating or anything that is out of ordinary. Chevy 3100 V6 Timing Problem Help!!!!!?

Okay here is my problem I have a 96 oldsmoblie with the 3100 v6 in it and im trying to regain time back. the book says have the cam and crank gear aligned up and down and cylinder # 1 will be TDC and cyl. # 4 will be firing.. heres my problem done that i have aligned them correctly but the only thing is that cyl. # 1 is not TDC its BDC so i have spon the crank 360 still the same the only way cyl 1 is TDC is when the crank is spon 140 degrees to the right. that is the only way i can get cyl to TDC. but when having the chain on with the crank at 140 degrees out and the cam down center i can get the car to run rough i think i have to spin the cam over a couple to degrees to have it in time with out haveing to swap plug wire to acheve center timing.. any word on help for me please...

I've just got a new v-studio 20 which allows me to record guitar on my laptop but when i have the headphones in there is a constant crackle. My daughters leg shape is unusual and is causing her pain.?

My 13 yr old daughter has very thick legs from thigh to ankle and consequently her ankles are very thick. She tends to walk with her heels lopsided (inwards).
