after alundra blayze tossed the wwf womens title in the trash the wwe kind of forgot about womens wrestling. then when the womens championship was reactivated in 1998 thats when the wwe started all the " sells" in the womens division with sable. the wwe had sable "mold" into a "wrestler" and had her defeat veterans like ivory and jacqueline. back in the attitude era you could say the womens division was a joke as well. when lita came to the wwe she was someone. she had a attitude and a look you didnt see from female wrestler in the past. lita didnt get by on her looks she got by from her highflying style. since lita thats when the wwe pushed chyna in the womens division,molly holly came along,jazz,victoria,they pushed trish stratus to be a wrestler and then gail kim came into the wwe. so would you say lita revolutionized the wwe? even when alundra blayze and bull nakano was wrestling womens wrestling wasnt really that popular.
